TERMS OF SERVICE
Last updated: 20 August 2026
These terms apply to your use of this website and enquiries made to Coast Electrical Avenue (ABN 93 692 005 016, NSW Contractor Licence 454456C). Separate terms in an accepted quotation, work order or invoice will also apply to electrical services we provide.
WEBSITE AND QUOTE REQUESTS
Information on this website is general and may change. Submitting a quote request does not guarantee availability, create a booking or require either party to proceed. A contract for work is formed only when the parties accept the applicable quotation or otherwise agree to the scope, price and arrangements.
QUOTATIONS AND SCOPE
Quotes are based on the information and access available at the time. Unless stated otherwise, a quote covers only the listed work. Conditions that could not reasonably be identified before work began, requested changes, additional faults or extra work may require a revised quote or variation. We will explain material changes and seek agreement before proceeding, except where immediate action is reasonably necessary for safety.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
You must provide accurate information, safe and reasonable access to the work area, and disclose known hazards or relevant property conditions. You are responsible for obtaining any owner, strata or other permissions unless we agree otherwise. A responsible adult must be available where reasonably required.
SCHEDULING AND DELAYS
Appointment times are estimates and may be affected by emergencies, weather, supplier delays, access issues or other circumstances beyond reasonable control. We will communicate material delays where practicable. Any cancellation fee or call-out charge will only apply where it has been clearly disclosed or agreed.
PRICES AND PAYMENT
Prices, deposits, progress payments, due dates and payment methods will be set out in the applicable quote or invoice. GST applies where stated or legally required. Please contact us promptly if you believe an invoice is incorrect.
MATERIALS AND VARIATIONS
Products and materials may be subject to availability. If a specified item is unavailable, we will discuss a reasonably comparable alternative before substitution where practicable. Variations may affect price and completion time.
QUALITY, LICENSING AND CONSUMER RIGHTS
Electrical work will be performed within the scope of our licence and with due care and skill. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If there is a problem, contact us so we can assess it and provide an appropriate remedy where required.
SAFETY
We may pause or refuse work where access or conditions are unsafe, unlawful or materially different from what was disclosed. Safety-related recommendations are based on conditions observed during the relevant attendance and are not a guarantee that unrelated faults do not exist.
LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable. Any limitation in these terms is subject to non-excludable consumer guarantees and other mandatory legal rights.
WEBSITE CONTENT AND LINKS
Website text, branding and original media belong to Coast Electrical Avenue or the relevant owner and must not be reproduced commercially without permission. Third-party links and embedded services are provided for convenience; their own terms and privacy practices apply.
PRIVACY
Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
